Anne Jackson
Anne Jackson is an author, speaker, and social change activist who lives in the Nashville area with her husband, Chris. Jackson is the author of two books, Mad Church Disease — Overcoming the Burnout Epidemic, and Permission to Speak Freely: Essays and Art on Fear, Confession and Grace (to be released in August 2010).
Roger Patterson
Roger Patterson has recently transitioned from the second chair to the first, becoming the Senior Pastor of West University Baptist /Crosspoint Church - a multi-site church in the heart of Houston, Texas. He has extensive experience in training other leaders, whether they are in the first or second chair, to understand the dynamics of what it looks like to lead and follow.
Patterson has more than 15 years of experience in the subordinate leadership role in the local church and co-founded www.secondchairleaders.com, a website devoted to the engagement and development of subordinate leaders in the kingdom of God. Also, with his friend, Mike Bonem, Patterson co-authored the seminal work, Leading from the Second Chair.
Scott Wilson
Scott Wilson has been in full-time pastoral ministry for more than 20 years. He is the Senior Pastor of The Oaks locations in Dallas, Red Oak and Mesquite Texas. In the last three years, the church has experienced robust growth, nearly tripling in size now ministering to more than 3000 people each week. Wilson is the author of two books: The Next Level: A Message of Hope for Hard Times (Baxter Press) and Steering Through Chaos: Mapping a Clear Direction in the midst of transition and change (Zondervan).
Jon Acuff
For the last ten years, Jonathan Acuff has written advertising for clients ranging from the Home Depot to Chick-fil-A. In addition to his many day jobs, he also writes a blog called www.stuffchristianslike.net. Acuff is the author of Stuff Christians Like (Zondervan), which is inspired by the writings on his blog. He and his wife live with their two daughters outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
Tony Morgan
For more than 10 years, Tony Morgan served on the senior leadership teams at NewSpring Church (Anderson, SC) and Granger Community Church (Granger, IN). Morgan currently serves as Pastor of Ministries at West Ridge Church near Atlanta, Georgia.
With Tim Stevens, Tony has co-authored Simply Strategic Stuff, Simply Strategic Volunteers, and Simply Strategic Growth —each of which offers valuable, practical solutions for different aspects of church ministry. He is also author of the book Killing Cockroaches (B&H Publishing).
